Product description
^A wedge box is used to secure a cable with a cam.
The S-421T Cable Wedge Box assembly consists of the body, wedge, pin and cable clamp. The body of the wedge box is made of cast steel.The box can be inspected individually by magnetic particle inspection. The wedge prevents any possible breakage of the dead strand due to fatigue.
The diameter of the pin and the opening of the clevis allow the wedge and the body to be used in conjunction with an open sleeve or a tapered sleeve.
