LIFTING RINGS
Lifting rings are lifting accessories loads which are intended to be connected to chain or rope slings to facilitate the operation. Lifting rings can be male rings, manufactured to DIN 580, or female rings, manufactured to DIN 582. Lifting rings have a circular eyelet. When the thread is added to the eyelet, it becomes an anchorage point for lifting straps, chains and winches. Lifting rings regularly act as a supplement to certain lifting devices or equipment.
Lifting rings are used on construction sites, for tool making, in workshops and when lifting heavy loads such as cranes or similar equipment. On our website you can find lifting rings of different diameters to suit all operations. There are both conventional lifting rings and GradUp articulated lifting rings.
The GradUp lifting rings come from Codipro, a leading brand in the field of lifting. These rings are well known for their ability to carry out lifting operations with rotating loads. The double joint of the ring ensures a perfect alignment with the lifting slings. Lifting accessories Gradup are easy to screw on, ergonomic and allow the use of an existing attachment point.
The lifting rings must be installed by qualified personnel as they are used for lifting operations in accordance with the Machine Directive 2006/42/EC.
Regular checks must be carried out by experts to ensure the safety of the lifting accessory. Thus, before each use, many points must be checked to ensure that the lifting eye is working properly. First of all, as with shackles, check that the markings are clearly visible. If the ring shows signs of wear, corrosion or deformation, it is no longer usable and should be replaced. The ring diameter should not be reduced by more than 10% of the nominal diameter. Also make sure that your load to be lifted is within the CMU indicated on the lifting eye.
